What is acupuncture:
In traditional Chinese medicine, we follow the theory that the energy of the body flows in channels that start or end at the extremities and work towards the core. Acupuncture is the practice of inserting needles in points along the channel to activate or tonify the qi.
Cupping
What is cupping:
Cupping is an ancient technique where cups are applied to the skin and held on by suction. Cups are either left in place or moved gently along the body. Cupping improves circulation by working to break up local congestion. Warrior Within Wellness uses traditional fire cupping and modern silicone cupping in practice.
Moxa
What is moxa or moxabustion?
Moxa is a traditional healing technique from that involves burning dried chinese herbs (the main herb is called mugwort or Artemisia vulgaris) near or on specific points of the body.
